History

Snakebird Studios formed in 2005 out of a strong desire to create beautiful websites, provide value for money, and bring web standards and best practices to new clients. Based in Jacksonville, FL, Snakebird Studios has held steady as a small web studio committed to personal and detail-oriented work.

The Name

Snakebird Studios is named after the Anhinga, an aquatic bird common along the rivers and lakes of Florida. The Anhinga is commonly called the Snakebird for its peculiar habit of swimming with only its long neck above the water, which makes it look like a snake.
